Shawn came highly recommended to us but unfortunately we live too far away to get direct training. We did however, have the opportunity to get a consultation from Shawn on some social issues our dogs were having. Shawn was professional, kind, is extremely knowledgeable, and his techniques work. I highly recommend him and only wish we lived a little closer to get some more direct training for our dogs! 10/10 would recommend.

Shawn did a wonderful job with our 4 month old belgian malinois, tracker. Within the 3 full days if training, tracker learned so many new commands. Since working with Shawn, my dog has done a whole 180. From not being able to let her off leash anywhere without her running off, to being able to take her to the beach off leash and have her heeling is amazing, and working with her boundaries and with resource hoarding she’s made so much progress, I highly recommend!

We found Shawn almost accidentally when we walked our dog Zaika in the park. Before we met Shawn we pretty much gave up on training as we had 2 previous trainers who just made dog’s reactivity worse which resulted in the very unpleasant experience. When we first spoke to Shawn we had little hope. He came and did a very long and thorough assessment of our troubles and areas we need to concentrate. From the first lesson Zaika listened to him and as the time progressed she became a different dog. She is eager to learn, she is smart and she adores her trainer Shawn. I highly recommend this school!

Shawn is not only one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, he is a talented dog trainer who can solve just about any dog behavioral problem. Our (2) 5-yr old Wheaten Terriers have gotten more and more anxious and reactive over the last couple years. It had gotten to the point where we couldn’t have ANYONE over without locking up the dogs. When Shawn first came over to meet us, he calmly coached us through how to properly introduce (outside the house) do a little lap and within 5 minutes Shawn was sitting in our living room with both dogs LYING DOWN relaxed. Shawn took them for 3 full days over three weeks. After each day he spent over an hour with our family teaching us what they learned at home so we could practice for the week. Since then we go to group classes on Saturday and (my favorite part!) have had some one off home training visits to tackle specific triggers (doorbell, daughter’s boyfriend, house guest for the weekend, etc.). Consistency matters and being diligent about the magic Shawn teaches you is important but it is exactly that. Magic! Thank you Shawn!!!!!
